Although the movie has a huge hype in the animation world, it did not even nearly disappoint the viewers. Tears were shed with laughter and sadness while the film was filled with silence and hush.

Before Starting to Watch Demon Slayer Mugen Train

If you are going to watch the Demon Slayer: Mugen Train movie, you must complete Demon Slayer Season 1. Unlike other movies, the Mugen part initiates when season 1 finishes with the cliffhanger.

If you have watched season 1 long before, it is ideal for catching the last episode of Demon Slayer Season 1.

No More Shonen Recap Syndrome

We all hate the anime because of the minor fillers that continuously keep coming after every episode. The shonen recap syndrome has bothered you a lot if you have watched One Piece, and I can feel it.

The 10 minutes of the movie’s beginning where they show you all those recaps of every episode you have watched in your binging session is daunting.

But to my surprise, there is no recap. Yes, no recap; the stories continue right after it was left off. As an anime binger, we had already taken time and moment to recap all those main points in the show.

Hence it is unnecessary to rewatch the movie. The movie was on point. They were not bullshitting around and let the audience know that h movie was indeed a real deal. The creator definitely knows what we Otakus go through while binging the anime.

On top of that, some new part in the movie is not written in the manga that is shown in the first 2 minutes as soon as the movie starts.

All Hail to Animation of Ufotable

The only thing Demon Slayer knows is slicing the demons, while the only thing that the Udotable knows is animation. They show rapid growth in their creativity and how they present action to the audience.

Like every other character is leveling up, Ufotable is intensifying their work. If you thought that the animation was top-notch in episode 19, where Tanjiro cuts off the Sakura head, then dude, you’re wrong.

We thought this was the epitome of animation, but Ufotable has proved us wrong. It looks as if the only enemy of Ufotable is Ufotable. They are honing their skill and presenting one thing after another that is eye-soothing and nerve-wracking for the viewers.

Again, if you thought that 2D and 3D do not synchronize well, you should definitely watch demon Slayer Mugen Strain because this movie will make you feel otherwise.

If it were not for Ufotable, then it would have been a herculean task to depict the action scene that Kayaguro had flexed in the manga version.

New Characters On Move-in Demon Slayer Mugen Train

A Man with a Smell of Justice

Kyojuro Rengoku is an optimistic, enthusiastic character eager to train the upcoming demon slayer. He is the ranked one Hashira who masters the flame technique.

No matter how much sorrow and defeat he faces in life, a smile is always plastered on his face. He is super powerful and has beat higher rank demons, and at the time of their deathbed, the demons have always praised his swordsmanship.

By now, you might be well aware that Demons detest humans, but Rengoku was offered to turn into a demon due to his immeasurable strength. It was his god gift skill that made him powerful, but the wise words of his mother made him kind.

Good Point Of Demon Slayer Mugen Train

What does it take to Dream?

If you have a bad life and nothing is going on track, your dream makes you want to see another day, take another breath, and expect a brightness at the end of the tunnel.

Demon slayer Mugen Train made us realize the importance of dreams, the subconscious level of our mind that lets us have a parallel life. The most amazing thing about a dream is if it’s good, it’s still a dream, but if it’s bad, you call it a nightmare.

On the other hand, the anime teaches us that we might have a bad life that was not ready for, we might see other’s happy and blissful life and find tranquility at the moment, but those feelings will not be eternal.

In a nutshell, there might be people around you who may be having one heck of a life, you might be at peace for a moment looking at them, but the sensation will last longer if you accept the fact and cherish the moment.

The Unexpected Side of Honesty (Spoiler Alert)

Truth is honesty, and Truth is always bitter. It is said that Truth will wreck a relationship and might even shatter the many. However, the grass is greener a the other side.

If you present the Truth well and with all honesty, it might even shape one’s future. The part where Rengoku was seeking acceptability from his father by becoming Hashira was the heartwarming and tear-jerking moment.

Despite this, his father did not even bother to turn around and congratulate his son. His young brother, who was also seeking acceptance from his father, asked him, “Was father pleased to hear the news? Do you think he will acknowledge me if I become a Hashira as well?”

You might wonder that Rengoku lied to his brother with beautiful words to motivate the flame brewing in his younger brother. However, Rengoku did not take the path of lying. In fact, he stated the fact straight with all compassion and assured him that his big brother always believed in him.

Coming Back to Reality

Dreams are beautiful, everything goes accordingly, you feel admired, and it is just the best part of living. However, anything so perfect blinds us from reality.

Tanjiro, on the other hand, dreams of living with his mother and his younger sibling. It was so perfect that his reality seemed like a bad dream to him.

Although he wanted his world to be exactly like that and wanted to experience this more, he commits suicide in his dream to get back into reality. I know this seems like a rough sketch in your head, but you will understand it’s jest if you watch the anime.

Only One Negative Criticism of Demon Slayer Mugen Train

To be honest, Demon Slayer Mugen Train did not need a movie to continue the arc. As an Otaku, I felt that the story could have easily been accomplished in the, 5 or 6 episodes rather than having a movie.

Mugen Train was like a compilation of some episodes by deducing the opening and closing themes. It definitely lacked the cinematic experience.

There is no denying that the movie hyped up the fans and made them excited for Demon Slayer Season 2. However, it would not affect any matter if it continued in a series.

Who Is cutting Onions Here?

The ending is a tear-jerker, and if you do not cry at the end, you might be a demon. A lot of things happen; you blame your capability and your incapability to get into action.
