Death

On 27th April 2016, he postponed two shows in Atlanta, releasing a statement saying he was recovering from the flu. It was rescheduled for the 14th of April, and he performed his final show, although he was not feeling well.

On a flight back to Minneapolis the following day, Prince became unresponsive. His private Jet made an emergency land in Illinois, where he was hospitalized and received Narcan.

After he was recovered, he was seen shopping at a record store, cycling, and partying at PaisleyPark. The next day, A 911 call came first thing in the morning of 21st April requesting an ambulance be sent to Paisley Park.

He was found hardly responsive and was declared dead. On 2nd June, the official word was that Prince had died of an accidental overdose of opioid Fentanyl.
