A brief history of Stonewall riots:
The Stonewall riots (also known as the Stonewall uprising or the Stonewall revolt) were demonstrations that members of the LGBT community did in reaction to a police raid on the Stonewall Inn in Manhattan’s Greenwich Village district on June 28, 1969.
